To create a profile

Select File > Settings, expand NLME in the left list, and choose Profiles (a profile item is added under NLME > Profiles in the left list).

Profile name — Name identifying this profile.

Machine name/IP address — Machine name or the IP address where the execution will be performed.

Machine type — Type of machine: Windows or Linux 

Startup script — Script to execute on the remote host to setup the run environment.

Shared folder — Location where the application can write results/temporary files on the remote machine.

R folder — Path to the R program on the remote machine.

The next two fields are for reference and are not editable. The NLME executable location and NLME license file values are configured on the main NLME settings page (select NLME in the list on the left).

Parallel mode — Parallelization mode to use.
Windows: None, MPI, Multicore
Linux: None, MPI, Multicore, LSF, TORQUE, SGE, LSF_MPI, TORQUE_MPI, SGE_MPI

Cores number — Number of computational cores available on the grid or for any parallelization.

User / Password — Login credentials for the host. Login credentials are always required when running on Linux and to use the grid, unless using a private key file.

Private key file — An alternative to entering a username and password, path to the file for ssh private keyfile authentication. (Use icon_scriptbrowser to navigate to the file.)

To edit a profile

Select File > Settings, expand NLME > Profiles in the left list, and choose the profile.

Modify the settings as needed.

To delete a profile

Select File > Settings, expand NLME > Profiles in the left list, and choose the profile.

Click icon_deletecluster at the top to delete the profile and return to the Profiles page.

Note:    A profile that has not yet been saved is deleted immediately. Otherwise, the deletion will not occur until the Save and close button is used in the Settings dialog.
